Bangladeshi Film actress Mousumi Autobiography

Bangladeshi film actress Arifa Pervin Zaman Moushumi, who is popularly known as Mousumi among Bangla film spectators, was born in 3rd February, 1972. Moushumi captured the attention of people through her very first movie "Keyamot theke Keyamot" which was released in 1993 and directed by Shohanur Rahman Shohan.

Family:
The father of Moushumi is Nazmuzzaman Moni and her mother’s name is Shamima Akter Jaman. She got married with another popular film actor of that time Omor Sani. They have two children. Her son’s name is Fardin and daughter’s name is Faiza.

Film career:
Moushumi acted in almost 200 hundred movies in her long career most of which became commercially successful. Apart from that Moushumi directed two movies, ‘Kokhono megh kokhono brishty’ in the year of 2003 and ‘Meher nigar’ in the year of 2006. She emerged as a fashion designer and established her own show room in Boshundhara City named ‘Levies’. She also released an audio album. At present Moushumi is directing a production house named ‘kopotakkho’.

Recognition:
Moushumi got the National Film Award in 2002 for her acting in ‘Meghla Akash’. Moushumi rewarded with UNICEF Advocacy for her activities of making awareness to protect child rights.
